A Place for Jesus Seekers

The ancient poet and king, David, prayed these words generations ago:

“You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.”

These words may still resonate with you today. Do you find yourself longing for God’s presence in a dry and parched land?

Parched is a Jesus-centered ministry offering spaces and resources for those seeking the only One who can truly satisfy our thirsty souls.

Anthony Celia

Anthony lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and their son.

For nearly two decades, Anthony has served the local church in various roles, always driven by a desire to connect people to the heart of Jesus—whether from the pulpit, in prayer gatherings, or over coffee.

Parched is an extension of that passion. Anthony is excited to collaborate with talented friends across the country to create welcoming spaces and transformative resources that draw people into a deeper encounter with Jesus.

Anthony serves as a pastor at Bethany in South Austin.

Jake lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and three children. He loves good food, golfing, and reading—but his passion is leading adaptive change so leaders can thrive in their God-given, Jesus-minded, kingdom callings.

Parched allows him to pour hope into tired and hurting leaders, a mission close to his heart. Early in ministry, he felt parched and overwhelmed, but other leaders poured into him, helping his soul flourish again.

After 15 years in local church leadership in Phoenix, he moved to Austin to disciple the next generation of Jesus followers. Now, he serves as vice president and campus pastor at Concordia University Texas.
